Touching my Memories
As I experience the world around me, the neuropathy in my fingers and toes—a result of chemotherapy—surfaces. In this body of work (2023-2025) I create a series of self-portraits that move from one experience of tactile sensation to another, alongside images of everyday objects that evoke shared memories of touch. I ask myself, “What if one day I do not remember how things feel when I touch them?”
